thanks ACME and Carolina.
ACME, I'm using Krytox....I should have provided which oil. Can you provide more on which oil(s) destroyed your wheels. It would keep me from doing the same thing as I'm beginning to experiment with oils. thanks

Does anyone have any experience how or if high humidity would impact a ps running on oil? I ran my ps yesterday and left it in shop with clean rag over it. It's raining here *** *** TODAY *** *** and I decided to go to shop to work on cars. I picked ps up and made a few runs...car was slower. Again, NO other changes except weather and humidity.

W Racing, Thanks for the info on sub 3 thread. I had missed it. I'm sure that my block is drilled for sub-3 as it was drilled my one of our own national champs. ;D
The wheels are jewkes pure stockers. My jewkes axles have not come in yet, but are coming. I'm currently running another after market axle....not the kit bsa axles.
I was looking at the slow motion video last night, and my car was wobbling after only a few inches from the start. And of course after it starts, there's no turning back. When it did not wobble, it runs 2.986.

A question from a rookie to the pddr track... how much steer is needed on a "block drilled" block pure stocker with com in the 3/4" to 5/8" range and Jewkes pure stock wheels to prevent the wobbles? thanks

Any suggestions on determining if slope on track is level. I have a single lane best set-up on an uneven floor. I have levelers/adjusters for the straight sections, but I'm not sure what to do check/adjust the slope section? I have an adjuster on the tall support bracket (the one near the pin) but I don't feel comfortable with assuming that if the support is level, then the track is level. thanks

John, yes we are getting snow!! The roads really started going down shortly after lunch. The drive home from Kinston to Maury took twice as long as normal. I'm working out of the house this afternoon My wife went to the grocery store last night for some milk, sugar, and eggs.....snow cream time!!! She commented the bread and milk was almost gone. It could not have come at a better time for the kids...they are out of school and hopefully will not have to make school days up from snow. Ed

John, your lights are more likely to go out if you are served by the city. Since I work for PE, I like to think we do a better job during storm restoration. Shade Tree, I too will have all hands on deck this weekend and will be traveling to other affected areas for power restoration if we are not affected too bad. Good luck and work safe! Ed

thanks ..... It has been a good day! My wife left for church before the kids and I and stopped by the pastry and picked up a b-day cake for after church. Quite a nice surprise. We went out for lunch after church with friends, came home and just relaxed around the house with family.

Very nice looking cars!! ;D ;D Wish you the best next weekend as I know the excitement will continue to grow all week!!
Just curious, is the longer wheel base side the raised wheel and is the intent to move the raised wheel further from rail?
