The blue car is my son's (Bear) and the purple car is my daughter's (sibling). Next Saturday will be the big race and as usual we seem to have everyone gunning for us ;D. Ofcourse that's half the fun.

Very nice looking cars!! ;D ;D Wish you the best next weekend as I know the excitement will continue to grow all week!!
Just curious, is the longer wheel base side the raised wheel and is the intent to move the raised wheel further from rail?

Thanks guys, To answer your questions- 1)After our pack derby these cars will be going to Utah to test run on Best track to establish baseline then Dad will build for PDDR. 2)They are both stock , our rules allow extnded wheelbase but must run wheels similar to PDDR pure stock wheels. 3)The right front is dominant wheel on blue car, offset is due to thickness of car was to thin to raise wheel so we moved it back to facilitate raising. Anyways thanks for the interest and I'll let you know how we do,At the leaders meeting tonight they said we have 107 scouts and 25 siblings registered to race.

Way to go! How many cars were involved with the race that you took top honors for?
Is it just me or is there no "image" of the two cars at the beginning of this thread?
Any who, Great job to the Rail Hugger's
