WOW !!!!
It's snowing again. That's twice in one week and it's only November. As close as we are to the coast, it is a rare sight to see. If we could only get enough to play in.

It's time for me to build something new.....a pinewood snowplow for my test track. It'll help prevent slips, slides and crashes whlie getting ready for The King of the Hill.

Its 4 below zero here....with a wind chill of -30. More than a foot of snow on the ground. I think I'll stay inside today as well.

It has been a week since I posted that it snowed and the snow is still on the ground! Last night the city called every single residence and warned them to stay home due to a blizzard Seattle has acually given nicknames to this recent weather- stormpocalypse and stormaggeddon. So cold out some of my pipes froze and when I took my quad out to play the clutch cable froze as well. This is the coldest weather I have ever experienced. Good excuse to stay inside and work on some cars. At least the power hasn't gone out yet as they said it would from the freezing rain we had last night. Sorry to hear that..... It's been in the high 70's to low 80"s lately. Crisp, beautiful blue skies......
It's great living in Paradise....
Kinda makes up for those nasty Hurricanes..

Yepeeee ;D ;D ;D We are getting 3" to 5"!!! It may not sound like alot to some of you guys but to us close to the coast it's like a foot. My kids are soon to be 10 and this will be their 2nd time playing in the snow. They are so excited they can't stand it.

John, yes we are getting snow!! The roads really started going down shortly after lunch. The drive home from Kinston to Maury took twice as long as normal. I'm working out of the house this afternoon My wife went to the grocery store last night for some milk, sugar, and eggs.....snow cream time!!! She commented the bread and milk was almost gone. It could not have come at a better time for the kids...they are out of school and hopefully will not have to make school days up from snow. Ed

Everyone must be busy with last minute building, because this is the biggest snow we have had in NC and nobody has said anything yet. How about the thunder and lightning during the heavy snow falls times last night. That was weird!!
