For all the paint guru's,
How do you keep the paint from creeping under your mask? The paint didn't creep under the stencil, but it did in some areas where tape was used. I was using HOK aerosols and the paint was coming out in big droplets. Will the airbrush give you a finer mist and sharper lines?

Airbrush will definitely work better than the can... ;D
When using masking tape I like to use a high grade autobody brand like 3m. You can get this kind at your autobody supply store only... there also are a few other top brands there as well.
Also when appling the tape wipe it down tight with fingers and make sure you have no gaps where you don't want paint... it takes a little practice but you will get the hang of it.
What will help you as well is do it in a warm place and keep the tape warm...

The 3M 233+ green tape is my favorite. Give very crisp lines and is available in lots of widths.
A roll lasts a long time, I use the 1/4" and the 1/8" ;D

Thanks, I'll try the green next time. Looks like taping requires a little extra time also.
