Rules and Regulations For the All New "Super" Modified Class (Small Diameter Axles)
One Modified car per Entrant per race but you can use any Modified car any month any year, points go to the builder not the car.
You can use any car that you have built over the years and keep using the same car every month or every year or build a new one.
**Requirements for the Race**
Wheel Base : ( May be altered as long as they meet the measurements below. )
Height : Not to exceed 2-3/4 inches ( 7cm )
Length : Not to exceed 7 inches ( 17.8 cm )
Weight : Not to exceed 5 ounces ( 142 grams )
Width : Not to exceed 2-3/4 inches ( 7 cm )
Center Rail Height : 1/4 inch ( 7mm ) *
Center Rail Width : 1-5/8 inches (4.2 cm) *
* Center Rail height and width are the actual measurements of the track, so you must build the car to clear these dimensions for the wheels to ride on the track, outside of the rails not on the inside.
- 1a. The main part of the body may be made or any Wood, Plastics or Metals. Additional materials maybe added.
- 1b. These Wheels are approved for the PDDR Racing Events.

Wheels may be sanded, polished, Machined or CnC'ed to remove mold casting burs and surface imperfections and Angeling, Reshaping, Rounding, Canting, H-cutting, V-cutting, Narrowing the outside of the wheels and tread surface is Allowed. The outside and the inside of the wheels maybe altered. Leaving some creative ability to the builder to sand and polish the wheels as necessary for maximum speed...
- 3. No part of the wheel that comes in contact with the track, be Painted.
- 4. Car must use wheels.
- 5. No sharp objects on the bottom of car.
- 6. The main body structure must be made of wood, Plastics or metal
- 7. Body design may be enhanced by adding other stable materials such as plastic or metal. All additions must be firmly attached.
- 8. No part of the car may go beyond the front edge of the starting peg.
- 9. Axles and wheels must not be attached to any device that mechanically alters rotation and spin.
- 10. Nail, pin, rod, or screw axle types are allowed.
