Rules and Regulations For the Stock Class (Standard Axles)
( One Stock car per Entrant per race but you can use any Stock car any month any year, points go to the builder not the car.
You can use any car that you have built over the years and keep using the same car every month or every year or build a new one.)

**Requirements for the Race**
Wheel Base : ( May be altered as long as they meet the measurements below. )
(You may change the location of the wheel base. Also you can use the existing slots, drill holes or cut new slots.)
Height : Not to exceed 2-3/4 inches ( 7cm )
Length : Not to exceed 7 inches ( 17.8 cm )
Weight : Not to exceed 5 ounces ( 142 grams )
Width : Not to exceed 2-3/4 inches ( 7 cm )
Center Rail Height : 1/4 inch ( 7mm ) *
Center Rail Width : 1-5/8 inches (4.2 cm) *
* Center Rail height and width are the actual measurements of the track, so you must build the car to clear these dimensions for the wheels to ride on the track, outside of the rails not on the inside.
*The main part of the body must be made of wood. Additional materials maybe added.
- 1a. Axle Diameter Allowed: .086 to .096 ( Aftermarket Axles and Axle sets in the list of kits below.)
- 1b. No bushing, bearings, sleeves, inserts inside or attached to the wheels, Axles or the body in anyway.
- 1c. Pinewood Derby kits are approved for the PDDR Racing Events.

- 2. Wheels may be sanded, polished, Machined or CnC'ed to remove mold casting burs and surface imperfections and for truing up the tread surface.
- Angeling, Reshaping , Rounding , Canting, H-cutting , V-cutting , Narrowing the outside of the wheels and tread surface is Forbidden. The outside of the wheels must remain stock appearing as they come in the kit. The small detailed marks on the edge of the wheels must still remain visible. Leaving some creative ability to the builder to sand and polish the wheels as necessary for maximum speed...

- 3. No part of the wheel that comes in contact with the track may be painted.
- 4. Car must have at least 4 wheels.
- 5. No sharp objects on the bottom of car.
- 6. The main body structure must be made of wood.
- 7. No part of the car may go beyond the front edge of the starting peg.
- 8. Axles and wheels must not be attached to any device that mechanically alters rotation and spin.
- 9. Nail, pin, rod Axle types are allowed.
