Ok guys.. I've been doings scouts with my oldest boy for four years. In that time we have aquired 20 trophies. This year is his final year but my youngest first year. We live about 2 hours away from Lima. We have o 28 pin to sensor wood track with Formica on it. How do I calculate the time from our track the track used at Lima

It would be almost impossible unless you had a test car or car ran on the Lima track. Only then could you estimate the time possible on the Lima track. When I first set up my track, it was 0.037 sec faster than the PDDR track. My slope was 1.5 degrees off. After adjusting that, all 3 cars are within 0.002 seconds (give or take) of the times averaged in the December race at PDDR. I just needed a test car to dial it in, lucky for me my neighbor sent in two cars and I had one so it give me some good data for comparison. When we race next month I'll have a fairly good idea on how the cars should perform.

Steve at Besttrack said 26 to 27 degrees. Mine was at 28, so I split the difference between his recommendation. I don't know the slope of the PDDR track. I would guess it to be close to the same.
