anyone know how would be a good way to tighten up loose axle holes/slots? just looking at some different ways, thought i would see what the rest of you might have thought of.

I have taken the axles out and put water into the holes and left a couple hours to let the wood swell up again. I have also put elmers glue in and put the nail back in to let the glue form a new fit. I also have filled the hole in with a match stick and glue and then drilled a new hole. Some ideas work ok, but none are fool proof - that's why I know all about them. (Takes one to know one)

I use liquid paper or what I call white out. I put it on a tooth pick stick it in the hole and coat the inside with it. It dries really fast but you got to be careful not to get it on some paints or it will eat it
