Am planning on purchasing 100 pine pro car kits for upcoming race to be held on June 30th. Local merchants to sell kits for race but how do the wheels n axles compare to other kits?

The axles are a bit better than the current BSA kit but the wheels are not as good. The hole for the axle is larger (more wobble), the plastic is of a different material (harder to shape and true up, and seems to become rough when worked), and of the few kits I have touched, the wheels are not all the same shape, and there is no mold numbers to make sets from. The kit was a bit more money than the BSA - here at least.
Oh, and I wasn't real happy with the quality of the wood block - but I'm a cabinet maker and have access to better.
Other than that the kits were ok.
I did only use 2 kits myself so you best get some other oppinions.
