It is the night before the BIG races. The car is setup perfect. The hard work getting the alignment just right, the polishing, and every other test can be done to get the fastest car on the track has been done. A month of work is over. WHAT NOW? Should the car be cleaned then broke down and re polished to help fix all the little scratches that came about for the test runs. Or just lube wheels and axles and its time to party.

It seems evident that you've done everything that a good builder does in the construction of a competitive car. Don't break the car down.....you may not get it back the way you want it.........the test runs are what breaks the car in to maximize it's future performance. If you are using graphite - a few passes down the track before an actual race will have your car in a positon to have it's fastest times. If you are going to re-lubricate make sure the graphite gets run in.

Never take apart a car that is broken in and running good before a race. Re-lube, break the new lube in and time to party!

You are right, MAX V has GREAT stuff. If I am not buying from Jewkes I am buying from MAX V. Hands down the two best places to shop for anything pinewood.
