What does everyone think of this idea?
Since all racers can't attend the PDDR event in person, would in be possible to post detailed pictures of the 1st place car of each event? Top view, side views, front and rear views. This would give the racers who can't get there the same or close to the same advantage as the live participants. You hear how people at the race get to look at cars up close and dissect little things that make them fast. Have them on a link where only members are allowed to have access.
Just a suggestion. What do you think?

I like the idea, I am always interested in learning all I can on building a winner so every piece of info is always welcomed.

i would think this is possible to. all angles except for the bottom view. even builders that show up live are not allowed to handle the cars. the only ones doing that are the jewkes who are tech'ing in the cars, checking them out to make sure they meet the division requirements. [axles, length, weight, wheels etc etc....]
perhaps david the video ninja could just put the car on the track, say in the middle lane and just do a short video moving around the car..

I think this would be great, both for the potential learnings and also just to enjoy taking a longer, more detailed look at some of the works of art the top guys put together. Unlike my own cars which look better from a distance (or at closin' time... no wait, I'm getting confused), the top runners get even better lookin' up close. And if you guys ever get a chance to see them live (Utah, Lima, etc.), they are even more impressive. ;D Bubba p.s. How 'bout a little MRI for the really good ones. Maybe a "tech sheet". ROTFL
