Has anybody tried this stuff? www.sentrysolutions.com/BP2000kew.shtmlJust curious.. sounds like you treat the metal parts with a wet lubricant that you need to let dry (fills pores). Then you apply this BP2000 powder over it.... sounds like it may be worth a try, but wanted to see if anybody else has an opionion.. (on this stuff anyway).. lol Do yourself a favor and save your money!

Good for guns - bad for pinewood derby. I've tried this stuff & some other gun related lubricants. I sent some Nuvell gun lube to Glenn a while back - same verdict. The majority of these lubes are intended to perform in a high temperature environment (like when a bullet gets fired through the bore of a rifle barrel). They just don't work the same way within the bore of a pinewood derby wheel.

I guess it wouldnt hurt to try it,but I wouldn't expect anything to special. Most times you hear about a molly based product I hear comments like save your money .I know I have read threads where pure moly was used, and it was slower than graphite or graphite and moly mix.And for that matter a lot of people are getting into oils. I might wait for one of the more exp racers here to chime in, some of them have tested probably hundreds of these lubes ;D. KOH

I tried the BP and the W2 and both performed poorly.

has anyone tried : Tungsten Disulfide (WS2) is one of the most lubricious materials known to science. With Coefficient of Friction at 0.03, it offers excellent dry lubricity unmatched to any other substance. For more information on WS2 visit www.lowerfriction.comi found this on the web and was just wondering.

I thought I read somewhere that it did not work so well either. Does anyone have an opinion on the Derbychamp Bullet Lube?? I used it last year on Xiphoid...was good enough for 2nd place..I have since switched lubes...

- Derbychamp Bullet Lube - I've tested it & also sent some to Jewkes to play with
- verdict on Bullet Lube - as fast as Hob-E-Lube at first but seems to gum up quick - does not last long...........

does the liquid graphite that comes in a small tube work well? if so how do you apply it? also would a lube spray with teflon work well?
