Since we are all waiting for the paint to dry in anticipation of the November To Remember. Lets have a nice chat about bearing cars.
Are there any tools for installing the axles?
How do you make adjustments after installation?
Do you use a lubrication for the bearings?
How do I beat Goat and Cash because I want in on the Fun ;D?

Great pliers for turning the axles, while wheels are still mounted.
Go to a fly fishing shop and buy a set of pliers they use to hold the fish hook while they tie new flies.
Very narrow, and several lengths are available.

In building a fast bearing car you boys and girls have the right parts, it is down to finding the right weight placment, tunning the car. finding the right wheels base. ride height. but this is what makes it fun for all... I do have some secretes about this... scout killer which is are car that we race for fun in the spm race is about .015 - .018 slower than UpNGon that we raced in 2009 nationals... some day i will have to dust off UpNGon for you guys and Gals...   ;D 2fast4u |
