Well Goat, I read your Birthday post to Andy. I see it this way, I have built "TWO" Bearing Cars in my whole bearing racing career. The first "ONE" Falcon has beat you 4 out 5 times this year, and the only time "YOU" did beat me was when My car wasn't staged correctly. At least I have an excuse, what is yours? Terry, You are exactly correct. I have never said anything about your building skillz. As a matter of fact, I always have said you are the best SPM racer we have. So you pounding your chest in your post is not needed. The issue I have with you is, as a top builder/racer I expected a little more from you when you got beat. Even if you thought you were wronged by John's staging (witch we know you were not) you could have at least said something nice, or better yet, nothing at all. You chose to revert to "jag" actions and blame John for your car being slow that month. I know you think your god's gift to PWD but even the great Ca$h can have a bad race. Now we fast forward to the October race. I thought I would let your actions from the past month go and just be the bigger man here. So you have a run and a good run it was. I type to you "nice run Terry". Do I get a thanks? ?? Of course not. In true "douche bag" fashion all you can say in return is "good to have David back staging". That is when I had it with you. Terry, you may be a great PWD builder and racer but you are as low as they come in the sportsmanship category. 10-4 |

Goat...........I know it's Halloween tomorrow, but I think you meant which, not WITCH? Didn't you?  I hope that's not grounds to have the PDDR Proboard account suspended? I better go read the Proboard terms of agreement just in case. Ian |

You are a fine one to be calling the kettle black.
Fast forward to the October race. If you recall, I posted that I had lost wireless service during the race and I didn't get to see the first two runs of Falcon or the posts on the chat board. When I finally was back up and running, I posted what happened? The only one that posted back, was Renegade, so Ian I never saw your post.
As far as the staging issue goes......in the Sept. race John was staging my DFW way off the rail. According to the stagging instructions I had sent with my cars, plus the way I build my cars to run, is if you see more than daylight between the wheel and rail that is to wide. I kept posting on the chat, move it closer or maybe let Glenn stage it. Looking back, I should have called John on the phone, and not relied on the chat board.......my mistake!!

If you want to be part of this board then by all means please contribute your opinion and your knowledge. If you are just going to troll around to start issues then please just do as your other pals have and delete your account and sign up another as a fake name!  There are just too many to count... I just want to say, I am all for this race but, at no time was I ever saying that I am better than Ca$h. Terry has some real fast stuff and he is a 1st class builder. The whole point I was trying to make in this thread was that I just did not care for the way he handled himself getting beat. I have no problem telling a guy "nice run" after I get beat and I was hoping Terry would be the same. So I know it's getting to be a Ca$h Vs. Goat thing, and I like that, but I just don't want everyone thinking I am bashing his skills in this class. I would still put Ca$h as the #1 SPM racer we have at the PDDR. Let's get back to race talk now.  P.S. BSB, I used spell check and found no errors. I guess I can hit post reply now.  Ian |

Let me first say, that after a very lengthy phone conversation with John, we have come to a mutual agreement and this issue was resolved.
Ian thanks for the great compliments, I try to do my best at every class I enter.
Now about the"pinks challenge".....I never back down from one "but" I'm going to have a tough time building another car. Because Blake and I are in 3 league finals in Dec., PDDR 7 CARS, PWDR 11 cars, WIPR 5 cars, so building another car maybe kind of had to accomplish right now. So I'm going to take a few days to think about it.

Terry and Ian had an issue, they have already said they have resolved it. Terry and John have talked so no issues there per Terry's post before yours.

There is no one hiding behind a computer. Who is exactly? Everyone posting in this thread is using their established racing name.
Evo has been brought into this and he didn't post. John says Evo deleted his account, Evo tells me he's baned and deleted nothing but doesn't care. Either way, he never posted in this thread to start with. Why bring him into at all?
BSB posted a HALLOWEEN crack. I mean come on. WIth as much ribbing that goes on here, making a Halloween joke on Halloween weekend is a horrbile offense? Yeah, he doesn't race here, but don't you think it's a bit of a reach that a single joking post related to the holiday that is right in front of everyone's nose is a bit over the top to take offense to?
Did he carry it any further? I don't see it posted.
Maybe the guy was trying to just test the waters a bit. Guess he got his answer.

It's nice of you to offer the pinks stuff. Even if things don't work out for the race, at least the offer was out there.

Paul, Let's deal with some facts here... It took you 40 minutes to type that post? d**n that is a long time. I'm not offended. I get tired of guys trying to start/say there are issues between the leagues when there isn't one. I posted about Evo for a couple simple facts - he can't and again, he was brought into the conversation when he had nothing to do with it. Hell, Mood was brought into too and didn't post anything either. But Evo more of the point of John's post. So am I defending a friend. I guess if you want to call it that. I view it as stating a fact. There is so much slamming of guys from pwdr for things that they are accused of doing that I do feel the need to point out when they haven't done anything. Crack the lollipop joke all you want, I don't care. Guys can make their own decisions on who likes lollipops.. Got his back.. Again, on what? IT was all resolved. Reread the previous if you have a doubt. As to supporting PDDR and posting here. I don't see where I have to race anywhere to be able to post. I believe Glenn stated that everyone is welcome to lurk, post, etc. Are you making the determination that I can not? As to the hiding behind a computer... I don't want to rehash the past but I ain't the one who stands 10 ft tall behind a computer. I don't threaten folks. When I post, I post what I feel. I try to defend my friends. Be honest,
If it had been almost anyone else who posted that comment that BSB had, say Derby Freak (who has been on a roll), would have it been taken that way?
Good natured ribbing has ALWAYS been apart of PDDR.
As far as I know, there are no issues between BSB and Ian. The only thing I remember BSB posting about Ian was congrats on the craftsmanship.

OK boys and girls, are we having fun... ;D this is why i put the pinks race up... TO MAKE THIS FUN!!! (Terry you said you have 2 spm.) We race little cool Pinewood derby cars that mean THE WORLD TO all of us... Competition is what it is all all about... To see how fast we can make them GO... if you say other wise your kidding your self... Yes, any one is welcome to come here, with the exception of our discrestion... due to behind the scenes that everyone does not need to know... so if someone gets banned of removed I guess you will have to trust our judgment... that is the way it is... but everyone wants to know why someone did, so it gets brought out by someone in the publics eye. Then when it gets heated, then know one wants to know when this happens... this makes me laugh and get frustrated at the same time... but it comes down to one thing, all of us wants the win, or be the fastest, or we would not do it. this is what drives man. COMPETITION!!!The board is here to learn, have fun, and express your opinion... if anyone does not like someone Else's opinion, then you can express yours... if you do not like it at all. then there is a little red box with an X at the top right hand side of your computer, push it and WaLa all the opinions are gone... lol ha ha ;D But I will tell you this, This goes out to everyone, don't cry and blame someone else because your car does not run how you think it should... Because are Doors are always open!!! We do everything in our power to make sure you have the Best place to race... i have fixed tons of cars due to shipping problems, put knew parts on the cars for free to give you guys a great place to race and feel confident that your car is handled like it is my own... that is what we have done from day one...
