Well, it finally has happened. I decided to join the great mod class over here at the PDDR. This will be a huge learning curve for me but I am looking forward to learning new things each and every month from all the great mod racers here. So here is my mod entry for the Oct. PDDR race.....Phintastic! The car started out as a premium sugar pine block from MB4Hire. This is 1 of my 1st "plank" style body's. The bottom of the block was hollowed out and I filled it with balsa and then spot puttied it to look like 1 piece again. The color choice was chosen because of my love for the best NFL team the Miami Dolphins. ;D The wheels are made from some 1/4" orange acrylic and turned down to 1.200" with Teflon hubs. The front and rear axle is a 3/32" drill rod that I turned down to .085". I weighted it with 1/4" tungsten cubes also from ___. Thanks again John for the great service! Well, in 2 weeks we will see how it goes. I really don't know what to expect from this car but I do know it's time I start getting involved with other classes. Planning a trip up to my buddy Zeebs next Friday to see if I can get anything out of it. Thanks for looking all. Ian

I like those wheels GB. If you ever feel like selling some of those I would take some.
