Hey Fellas
You guys have helped me and my son so much in the past build a killer car and I can never thank you enough for all I have learned from you all. I'm asking for your help with something completely different but pretty cool. My son is in a unique contest that has been going on for the last month or so, and he has made the top 5 finalist in the country. The letter below will explain in more detail of what its all about. I live in Delaware it would be super cool to get votes from all over the country from you guys. Thanks for your time
My name is Kirby Britton. I am the guy that designed the MOT All-Star signs. I wanted to let you know about this. My son Christian Britton plays in the minors for the Bombers. Coach Mick Tomlin handed out to the team a Little League magazine. In it was an ad for a contest, sponsored by Honda and Little League, to design a pin that will be handed out at the Little League World Series. We came up with a design and entered the contest a few weeks ago. My son came up with the best idea of having a pin with a team gathered in a huddle in the center with the slogan "Go Team". I think it sends a great message of Little League Youth ball players working together and having fun together as well as represents Honda and Little League Baseball and Softball working together as a team. Thought it was clever. Of all the entries submitted through out the country, the judges picked 5 finalists and Christian's design was one of them! The reason I'm letting you know is, to win, 80% of the choice will come from votes online between 4/12/11 through 5/15/11. So, they are encouraging people to go online and vote. The winner of the contest will win a trip to the Little League World Series, 50 of the new pins, and then, here's the best part, Honda will donate $5,000 to the winner's local (our MOT) program. Not to mention the publicity that MOT would get. Anyhow, don't know if perhaps you could distribute this in some way so we could get the help of our MOT families in voting.
