I appreciate all the thoughts and prayers that have come our way from the various racers for this past weekend. For those who dont know, Highlander (my husband) fell from a ladder and landed straight back on a concrete slab resulting in multiple fractures in his skull and damage to three of the brain's regions. He is back at home now but the healing process will take some time. The buildup of blood in the base of the brain has caused some hearing loss and pressure headaches and bouts of short term memory loss. The Neuro surgeon expects he will recover completely given time. But continue to keep us in your thoughts and I look forward to getting back to racing in the coming months. Thanks and God Bless, Classy

Thanks everyone. MB, They wont give me an answer about his recovery yet.. but you know what a tough old Boy he is. Our biggest challenge right now is that he has zero appetite, I can only get two or three bites in him a day. He sleeps about twenty hours plus a day and is exausted when he is awake, I contacted the neuro surgeon yesterday and he says that this is normal behavior for this extent of injury. Thanks again to all for your continued prayers.

Highlander has turned the corner and is doing much better. He is eating small meals and getting up and around a couple of hours at a time now. We ventured to the Home Depot today and that wore him out but he is determined to get back to doing some things. Thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers.

Ok last post on this subject. Highlander was released for full duty work just 12 days after the incident. Amazing recovery. Or as I told him... it just goes to show you that you dont need a full functioning brain to do his job, haha. Thanks again guys yall are awesome prayer warriors. Take Care ~Classy
