OK, the rule is " axle slots have been precut into the wood block provided in the kit, these slots are the only place permissible for mounting the axles and wheels".
How would you prepare the block and mount your axles/wheels and stay within the rules?

I overfill the slot with clear two part epoxy. Allow to cure, sand flat with the block, then drill your axle holes.

Thanks for the feedback, however you are assuming you can "drill". Is fill and drill using the slots?
Flipping, drilling, and sawing is not obviously within the rules.
I think the only option within the rules is drill the slot. It does not say you cannot drill the slot, but I guess if you are going to do that what would stop you from filling and drilling the slot. Are you really using the slot?
Ok, let's say you want to just use the slot. No drilling. what would you do?
