from doing some reading it sounds like many members try to get their body weight under 10 grams.... if that is correct what are some techniques you guys could lend to achieve this...
I thought I saw a post on here of someone who hollowed out the whole bottom of their car but now i cant find that picture/post... is that the prefered way
or do I remove width in the middle between both axles...
any recomendations would be helpful thx...

Assuming you are drilling axle holes and have no slots to contend with.
I like a 5/16" slab built on a premium sugar pine block.
From the top I like it to look like a rectangle.
I do like to make the car thinner in front of the frent axles so that it tapers to a point almost. I usualy leave the bottom of the car not tapered.
As long as you have 3.6 ounces of added weigth you are good in my book. However with a mod you should be pushing 4 easy. WIth new BSA wheels unlightened 3.8 to 4 is easily possible.
You can holow out the bottom of the car and Mood posted pics of that.
I like to use a sweet spot, tungsten disc (1" diameter) or tungsten cubes. That is my order of pref. If I use cubes I like the cubes to be as close together and packed as tightly as possible.
