that was great ! i often tell my wife there is no need to travel outside the USA, you could never see all the great things we have here.
2 years ago my wife and i spent 6 days on an all paddle white water rafting trip through the grand canyon. best experience i have ever had , hands down !!
had to hike out of the canyon to the south rim after 6 days and 96 miles of rafting, the hike was over 4200 ft in elevation just about 3 1/2 empire state bldgs high. could hardly walk for a day or 2 , but would do it every year if i could.
hoping to do the whole canyon in the next 5 years. 226 miles - 15 days.

i would like info on the rafting trip too. My family is going next summer to the Canyon. I thought the donkey ride into the canyon like the brady bunch did would be fun,, but what you did is very cool
any more info you have would be appreciated too,, like the rafting company, where you started and ended, etc.

Tye and LA , i don't want to high jack the thread, but i could go on for days on how great my trip was, if you are serious about white water rafting at the grand canyon i have plenty of advice. to start there is only 1 outfitter in my opinion to consider you can contact them and visit their site www.azraft.com. i can tell you that this must be planned at least a year in advance and it is no place for young children. once you start there is no turning back or changing your mind. there are allot of options on what type of trips you can take but for the ultimate adventure there is no comparison to the all paddle. we can PM info back and forth if you need more info, would be glad to share
