Anybody got any idea if theres a rattle can close to the pearl white they use on the cadillacs? Ive got pearl powder that i bought today but dont know what airbrush paint would be good to mix straight with it or how much i should thin it make it spray right. Its goin to be the main color and i want that blue/purple hue but also dont want it to be dominate cuz im doing lime green in sunshine yellow graphics with it. ANY ideas or tips would be appreciated

try your local auto parts store that sells Dupli-Color paint they have match paint colors for GM, Ford ,& Dodge in spray can

yea advanced used to carry a can real close to it but since theyve gone to the smaller cans now they took that color out which sucks. ive used the metal cast colors ALOT and throwed a heavy coat of artic white down and misted the blue and purple on top let it tack for a few then soaked it with clear. it got real close to the look i want but dont wanna chance it on the actual car. Plus i think it will pile up on my tape lines for my graphics and make me have to wet sand the crap outta it to get it evened out

 Sometimes you have to ask a parts manager at autozone to help you, wait that's me! We have several different whites in the dupli-color perfect match. But mixing that pearl powder for an airbrush the bigger O'reilly's have a separate paint department and the guys who work that can tell you just how to mix and with what that would work the best. You can try the one here where I live 336-751-2151 and ask for Dave or Cody or call around to find their local hub and they should have a paint dept there. or shoot me a line and I can call and find out for you and where to get it. ;D

I ordered a createx pearl white yesterday to shoot through my airbrush and see how it turns out cuz they said i should be able to shoot it straight with the powder in it but i only needed to add a "coke head quick sniff" was the words he used to an oz of paint. we will see?!!!
