I have just started using the lighter machined BSA wheels from both sources and I want to get some advise.
I normally just hold the top and bottom of the wheel and use it to pull the axle out. The wheels are SO flexible that I am afraid to do it that way.
How do you remove the wheels & axles from your cars?

Since we have use these wheels allot... ;D the best way to pull the wheels off is PULL ON THE NAIL ONLY do not pull or pry on the wheel perieod... We use small pliers with smooth ends, no teeth... sorry pat I do not recommend # 4... you do not want to harm or damage the coned hub... I hope this helps... Glenn

#3 works very well especially with the spacing tool they sell too as a push up tool Raise the wheel by pushing down on spacer handle til you have enough axle head to grab John Happy Holidays!

dascomp51,
You've already been given several good methods above to removing your wheels & axles.
Here is another important suggestion - use elmer's glue rather than epoxy to glue in your axles........much easier to break the axle loose & less likely to bend while removing with elmer's.
