Where are you guys buying yours? How thick of a washer are you using for the rears on a stock car if running inside out?
Thanks,
Jim

I'm using 1/4in. Teflon rod from McMaster-Carr drilling a hole with a #43 bit with my lathe & cutting them off with a hobby knife just long enough for wheels to clear maybe a 1/8 to 3/16 long oh; I also cone the end that touches the wheel

Here is a tip, and maybe you are already doing this? When you go to cut off that spacer, put your drill bit in the tailstock drill chuck backwards. Crank it into your dirlled hole in the nylon.......then when you use your hobby knife to cut it off, it will support your part as well as keeping your finished part from flying across your shop. BSB - just came across this tip. Great tip

Are you guys gluing the washers to the side of the body, or free floating on the axles?
