I think the difference is that the 91SGA axles are grooved and the 91BSA axles are not. The 91BSA axles are machined to emulate the standard BSA axles, but with a slightly larger diameter. Both axle types are made from stainless, very straight and hard. The BSA speed axles are based on the standard BSA axles, machined to make them true.
I've run the 91SGAs and love them. Upgraded from the BSA speed axles and saw a nice reduction in time with similar set-ups.

The 91SGA == 0.091 Super Grooved Axles The 91SA == 0.091 Super Axles (No groove)
The 93SGA == 0.091 Super Grooved Axles (however bore area is increased to 0.093)
BSA Scout axles. that is a question for Jewkes or LA...

THe standard axles will fall out of the holes left by the 91SAs... Hmmm true, Maybe take a small amount of glue with me as well.

W is right. I'm not sure glue would even help. The larger hole will allow that axle to move around, hard to tell where it will be if/when the glue sets and holds. Could throw off the alignment. I had the same dilema when trying to build 1 car for Awana and BSA. I was going to drill 2 sets of holes, but went with Edge axles instead - and built 2 cars! Neither race checks much at all. Just the basics. Have you already drilled the holes? I'll bet Glenn can cook up a special set of BSA axles for you. Have you considered Awana axles? They are bigger and will pass the magnet test. Much better "stock" axle, if you ask me.

Hey guys! I want to thank everyone here for their help. We decided to use the standard BSA axles and polished them with the Sub 3 polishing kit. It worked out great!
