Hi guys:
Trying to figure out what the racing length of the PDDR track is. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Hello,
I'm working on modifying my test track to match the PDDR Best Track dimensions. I'm planning to get a couple cars in the April races. My current test track uses the plating from Beta Crafts. I just barely got it up and running for this years BSA race, so reworking at this time, is not a big deal...
Can anyone get me the measurements for:
1. How long is the car staging area (back of track to pin)?
2. What is the angle of the starting incline?
3. What is the height of the intersection of the starting pin and track surface to the ground?
The rest of the dimensions I think I have, from other sources on the internet and this forum.
I'm looking forward to getting a car or two sent over, my nephews BSA race is over for the year and I would still like to do some more racing. Also, it will be nice to find out how I measure up to the pros. I'm planning to send a Modified and Pure Stock over.
Thanks, -Jason

Thanks, -Jason My track is setup like PDDR (at least it's as close as I can get it) 1. 7-7/8" from end of the track to the peg. 2. 27.1ยบ 3. 46-1/2" from ground to the track surface at the strating pegs 4. 49-7/8 from ground to the track surface at its highest point (very end of the staging area) My track is not raised at all, it sits on the concrete floor of my basement. Hope this helps Andy

With the filing down part, that is done on the edges to make sure you get a smooth transition between pieces.
Just are filing down the lower edge (of the piece of track that goes next) too. Just where they meet if I remember correctly.
Have been trying to keep up with that stuff for when I finally get my AL track.
Me no likey my wooden one.

I just put together a 42' 4 lane best track for the girl scouts on Sunday. I did all the filing in 10 min. I used a die grinder with a soft (blue) pad, when I ran my cars they went as smooth as silk!
