Had our pack race there was a problem with the track and timer. So they borrowed a track from another pack. It was a super track 35' pvc with no center rail. My sons car ran in the 2.53-2.58 range. It was his first derby tiger scout he won the pack. Even after a crash in the first of 6 heats. I was wondering what those times relate to other types of tracks. I don't think we will see a track like that at district. thanks mike

I don't think there is a good formula to figure that one out. I could see it if it was a Besttrack. Send your car to East Coast Derby for this Saturdays race. Then you'll know exactly. Congrats on the win!

I dug up some old notes that I had from testing on my track before I bought the last section to make it a 42'. I had 2 old cars that ran times in those ranges...
35' track 2.53-2.58 will be around 42' track 3.03-3.08
all else being egual - yours should be close

We had our district race on Saturday the 27th of Feb. It was a 42 foot SuperTrack. There were 65 cars entered. I think a bell curve would have shown a peak at around 3.19-3.21. There were a few turtles around 4 and even 4.5. One of my sons raced in the open division, and had the only sub-3 times (on his last two heats). He was running on three wheels, non-canted, no steer, straight as possible, graphite lube. He used a new 3.6 oz. tungsten weight from Jewkes Engineering which was rectangular and only about 1/4' thick.
