I know this may sound cheap, but I was hoping to reuse my tungsten weight for my next build. (Assuming this one has major speed issues). My first.
Here is my question: If I glue in my 1 1/8" tungsten using epoxy, is there any way to remove it without destroying the car body? If not, any other suggestion for securing the weight? The hole was drilled from below.
Thanks in advance.

For all you guys using 1" Tungsten Rounds for weights we have a new way to install them without using glue and also a clean dress up for the ugly metal finish that you have to look at on top of the car.... The weight installs in less than a minute and you can easily remove the weight without destroying the body... no mess, no clean up and worry free replacing the weight....they make different weight 3.2, 3.5 3.8, 4.0-4.1 now you can install the right one and test which size weight will work best when tuning your car..... Are you sorry that you ordered the wrong weight and now you have to make it work after you glued them in? Now you don't have to worry about it no more. The new kit is only $3 to install the 1" Tungsten rounds (Tungsten not included) How to order Contact : jewkesengineering@comcast.netJust note in the email / 1" Tungsten Round Install Kit

I have a protection pad for using a torch for soldering. You can buy them at a pluming supply store. Then cut a 1 inch circle out and place the mat around your weight. Then hit the weight with your torch for about 2 seconds. This releases the epoxy without burning the wood.
