I was noticing in a few of the new rules, that if a part comes off a car it will be disqualified. Does that apply to wheels on say for instance the needle axle cars? Sometimes when going onto the stop section, a wheel may pop off. The end caps once in a great while pop off and the wheel comes off. Would that cause for a DQ? It's a very simple fix to put the wheel and end cap back on. Just curious.

I would hope that would continue...

The thing we are tring to avoid is cars that come apart or come off their lane in the middle of the race and could send a part of the car into on-coming race cars. If this happens then it will be DQ'ed.
The car must be able to stay together during the entire race. Once it crosses the finish line the race is complete.
If the car parts come off in the stopping section and don't interfer with any other car and can be easily be repaired in a timely manner, then no it will not be DQ'ed.
If ones car comes apart another time even in the stopping section it will be DQ'ed.
Cars must be built so that they stay together for the entire race.
Agree ??
