When using graphite, I usually rub graphite onto the inside, rail touching edge of the DFW to help with friction.
What do you do if you use oil?
Rub oil on it? Leave it bare?
Just curious what those using oil are doing if they are willing to share...

Just pour you a cup of canola, and dip that whole SOB in there Kidding of course, I rub the oil on the inside and outside hub, and the FDW edge. Don't know if it helps, but I figure it's so light it cant hurt...

Just wondering if I risk picking up graphite and slowing the car more that I would be speeding it up. That and concerned it would help toss graphite into the bores.
Trying oil for the first time and not sure what the hell I am doing. Not like that would be different than most days, but hey, at least I have some place to ask for advise. ;D

we use a rag rub in a little graphite on the rag then poilish inside edge of fdw. just becareful not to get it in the wheel bore. i do this when i put the cars togather.
