How far out should I build out around the rear axle holes to cone the body when reverse mounting the wheels?

Jim - I had the same question. I'm sure the experts will weigh in, but here's what I did. The first time I made mine too small. When I put the wheel on reversed, it still rubbed and didn't spin freely, so I had to add more bondo. If you look at the outer wheel profile, you'll see that it dips in a bit from from where the lettering is around the wheel to where the hub is. This is the minimum distance you'll need to account for so it doesn't rub. Hopefully someone will weigh in and confirm.

I have not built a car this way, but from what I was told by a fellow racer is 3/16 is what he does them at.
