hello everyone. i purchased a set of Jewkes A-0003 BSA speed axles and i would like a few suggestions on how to prepare them. my only experience is with stock BSA axles, i am not sure what grit sandpaper to start with. these axles look very nice already so i don't want to ruin them by sanding with too rough of a grit. i was thinking maybe 600 grit? the paper i have now ranges from 600 to 2000 and i have mothers mag and aluminum polish. any advise would be appreciated. thank you. ;D

Buy the axle polishing kit from Jewkes or MB4hire. 600 grit is too course! 2000 is not fine enough.
