Hi Yall! My son and I just won our pinewood derby and I really had a blast helping him with this project. I have been reading all the great info here on this messageboard and I got a bunch of great products and help from John (MB) so I wanted to give all of you a HUGE thank you. John if you weren't married... LOL
I was wondering if it is totally wierd for a woman to get into this hobby. We are thinking about trying out some league racing. I just wanted to make sure this wasn't just a boys club. Anyways, we are going to start building a car in hopes of getting it ready for the next race. I want to see how far behind we are from the top racers. Rmember one thing gentlemen, LADIES FIRST! I will see you boys on the track!

Welcome southoftheborder! It's great to get new racers involved with league racing and even more exciting to get more woman involved. You will find some of the best pwd racers on this forum so if you have any questions at all, just type away. Have a nice holiday and again, welcome aboard.
