The axles are polished the bore cleaned/polished and loaded up with graphite. How important is the wheel spin time? If it is how long?

A lot of professional racers on the different forums have posted that wheel spin time is not an accurate test of the friction between the axle and wheel. I have not proved it to myself so until you're able to perform better tests, use it.
I've used my finger but you can also use a rotary tool with a buffer attachment. Using your finger, it may be difficult to compare to others as finger strength and technique will vary.
My record finger spin time is 36s. I've read a post where the racer got in the 50s. I haven't done it lately but in the past I would shoot for at least 24s. Less than 15 is unacceptable.
