I went on a Pinewood shopping spree this week. I bought a drill press with laser light attachment, a band saw with tiltable table, THE BLOCK with all the needed accessories~clamps, drill bits, etc., two sets of the new style axles, and new wheels. Now comes the hard part... One by one, slip these new tools and toys into the garage/workshop so that Highlander doesn't notice them ;D The 2010 build fest is ON!!!!

I wondered where you went? Sounds like a fun shopping trip! Tell your hubby that you bought him the tools to do some repairs around the house. Your new shop is going to be turning out some fast cars.

Cool, hope you have safety glasses as well! Even CA glue (crazy glue) can be a danger. A RC car sponsored driver accidently squirted it into his eye while trying to unclog the tip.

What happened to his eye? I have never worn glasses while using CA... He was in pain when it happened at a race event, 911 responded and took him to Emergency. Commercially there are liquid products to soften and dissolve CA glue but I'm sure they're not exactly ideal to put on the eye. I heard it third hand and never heard the outcome. Safety glasses while using CA glue is overkill, don't squeeze the bottle when you're looking down on top of it and trying to unclug the tip. I wear prescription glasses but sometimes when I'm gluing RC tires onto wheels I bring the work piece too close and my eyes start burning from the CA fumes.
