Some folks on the forum have ruined some nice wheels due to oil testing… If you are trying for the Sub 3.0 patch there is no need for oil. Hobe-e-Lube is just fine for that purpose. Known Safe PWD Oils: Krytox 100 NyOil II Of the two Krytox 100 is the one to use. It is safe for wheels. Only danger is that it can be slower than Hobe-e-Lube if over applied. Use with new Edge 91Gas and new Edge CNC Pure stockers from MB4hire or JewkesEngineering. Hopefully folks will post oils that will melt wheels or that simply do not work. List of known oils that destroy wheels: SPB 10 will melt wheels. List of oils that just do not work (slow): Nanolube Krytech Testing new oils: If you are going to try a new oil get some raw BSA wheels for testing. Color wheels might be the easiest to see the damage. It can sometimes take a couple days for the damage to appear… Roll testing a car and spinning the wheels is not an indication of oil speed. You need to run on a track to know...
