Someone is going to win a 42' Best track at nationals.  What is the minimum space needed for the track and what is the nice to have space for the track? |

W, I was on the phone with Besttrack Friday in regards to the standard 42' track. The actual minimum floor length you will need is just shy of 42', I think they told me 41' 10". As Glenn stated 50' would give you some room to walk around the track. After last months stock race you may need the longer stop section  . |

W, I was on the phone with Besttrack Friday in regards to the standard 42' track. The actual minimum floor length you will need is just shy of 42', I think they told me 41' 10". As Glenn stated 50' would give you some room to walk around the track. After last months stock race you may need the longer stop section . OK i just measured my track and the room... i have 26.5 inches from the wall to the edge of the track from where you start the cars... from the wall to the end of the track with the 80 inches of stopping section it measured 46 feet and 6 inches... give or take a half of an inch...lol ;D |

Thanks Glenn, Reso and Shade Tree... Thanks for measuring Glenn! Thanks for the correction on the prize Shade Tree! Thanks Reso! :-) I don;t think so for now :-) Maybe someday I will need the extension :-) Because a Disc hangs out the bottom of CoalCar it stops within a foot of the timer.  Future cars will slide better ;D ;D ;D |
