I am going to build a modified and I have a question on alignment. I understand running the rear wheels straight up and down instead of canting because of the narrow tread ( I think I'm right here. Let me know if I'm wrong), but do you still cant the dfw for rail riding? Or are these cars aligned more to run straight?

The reason for canting the rear wheels is to run the wheel to the head of the axle. The theory is the running plastic to metal has less friction than plastic to wood. Regardless of tread width.
