I am saddened to hear of "The Joker's" passing. When I first started racing in this league, He and Emerson Fast Cars were the guys I was trying to catch. I never met Steve, but I know he was very knowledgeable about pinewood derby cars and his car "Casino" was a thing of beauty.

Sorry to read this, he will continue to be remembered in legend by those of us who never raced against him. I would have liked to run a car in his honor, perhaps someone will hold an annual memorial event.

Part of me is sad... Losing my friend and fellow true Believer.
But as a true Believer I KNOW that he is with our Father and Lord Jesus Christ. What a glorious place to be!
Steve truly loved pinewood derby. He gave freely of his knowledge, advice and support.
Joker helped me develop my small ministry here at PDDR in the "Think About It" thread.
Join me in prayer for his family, especially his children, as they transition through this difficult time.
Steve Clark "Joker"
Gone, but never forgotten
