Thanks Beak
So after the Denatured Alcohol, do you leave the wheels air dry?
Then the denatrued alcohol is the final stage before you put the wheels on?

After I finish with the Billet polish, I'll put denatured alcohol on a Selvyt cloth and clean and then take a clean dry selvyt cloth for the final wipe down. All this is done while still spinning in the drill press @ 600 RPM's.

Extreme I soak them, use the toothbrush to get the caked on stuff off, then blow off with compressed air. Any residual will be apparant then, just work more with the alcohol to get it off.

Billet is just polish made by Mother's that I picked up at the auto parts store. I got the selvyt cloth at the site below. I got the 5x5 SR universal cloth. www.selvytusa.com

Carolina,
You mentioned that it was spinning in the drill press at 600rpm's. I am assuming you meant the wheel was spinning in the drill press. What do you use to mount the wheel in the drill press? The Pro Wheel Mandrel I have seems to damage the outer bore and maybe the inner bore.
Thanks.

The wheels, I just hold in my hand while I polish the bore with a q-tip shaft mounted in my cordless and Novus #2. Then clean with denatured alcohol as Beaker mentioned.
