so what are your goals for this year ? mine : 1) make the top 5 in a pure stock race 2)qualify for the KOH in pure or stock 3) maybe a mod before the year is over 4) beat mood anytime he enters a car !!!!! 5)1 door slammer at least (chevy or vet ) probably 6) get 1 paint job correct before the year is over  7) make an elite club ?? ( yea right !) yours ?  |

Goals for 2009 PDDR Racing Season 1 - Finish 1st in a division. I have finished 2nd several times and I'm ready to win one. 2 - Set the Super Mod Needle record. Eruption is getting mighty close.  |

1) Build a Door Slammr' for each of this year's races, none of which have a paint job riddled with paint runs / bubble wrap marks  . 2) Encourage / cajole / inspire others along the same lines... get to a 10 plus Slammr field by the time the Vette race comes around 3) Build a couple "out of the box" Slammr' builds - might be "No Points" runs but really cool... 4) And just so you don't think I've got a One-Track-Door-Slammr-Only mind... get a sub 2.0 run out of a Super Special Super Mod (in my spare time...) 1. Have fun
2. Learn how to make faster/better cars (Take 0.3 sec off Pure Stock)
3. Join the Sub 3.0 Club in Pure Stock
4. Attend another race in Utah if I can
5. Have fun

I have reached the first two goals for this year already, but here's mine:
1) Win a heat (check)
2) go sub 3.0 in pure stock (check)
3) go sub 2.9 in mod (I was close in February, single run of 2.904)
4) qualify for KOH
and now that the door slammr bug bit me;
5) see a 10+ car door slammr field
6) not to be last in the door slammr race (again)

My goals have also began already:
1.) Get my son to catch the builders bug (check- as of last night)
2.) Build a car with minimal help from the guys. (check)
3.) earn entrance to the sub 3.0 club
4.) Out run my Arch Rival and Mentor, LOL!
5.) One day get to Utah, as soon as I can figure out how to write it off as a work expense, LOL!
