Anyone sending in a new car this month?
Tye Racing is sending in the white one with the ugly black stripe I posted earlier.
my son, Go Fast, tuned up his Pure from last month to see if he could improve the times. It runs on 3-21 in the local District Derby and he thinks he made it faster. We dont have a track, so who knows. After his tinkering, he looked at me, one eye brow raised, and said "SUB 3"..... I cracked up.

i got a new 1 coming TYE. "pork chop "
tested last night and she was pretty good.
forgot to put my pillow at the end of the stop section and we had a little incident. she wrecked and broke the hub on the right rear.
so now i got 2 super stockers in the rear, and 1 pure stock wheel in the front and an awana wheel mounted to the car.
she lost about .03 with the new set up !
she is an experimental car anyway so we will see.

my son and I started an experimental car today,, wind power assisted so it is not legal but pretty cool. we got the idea from the max velocity website. When the car is done, i will post some pics.
It is going to be a challenge car at our District Derby, just for laughs.

I had one but it turned out to be too big to run worth a dern, so I cut it down. Who knows, she may just show up as a pure stock next month.  |
