Team Tye has been working on some new stuff. We are not painters at all but we enjoy just the same. I tried to paint the weights and as you can tell, it didnt turn out very well. I tried to make a stencil, out of painters tape, for the black stripe but the paint ran a little. Lil Tye is laying claim to the purple one.

Blue Painter's tape is not the best choice if you want crisp lines. The solvents in most rattle-cans or solvent based paints, will creep/bleed under. If you do use the blue painter's tape, be sure to run the edge of a credit card or the cap of a Sharpie, along the edge of the tape. This firmly adheres the tape along the line. You will need to remove the tape as soon as the paint "flashes off". Pull the tape over it self at a 45 degree angle. Your best option is to use the Green 3M AutoBody tape. Cost a little more, but a roll lasts a long time. Comes in a whole bunch of widths. Won't find 3M 233+ masking tape at Wally-World or Lowe's/Home Depot. Look in the Yellow Pages under: Automobile Body Shop Equip. & Supplies These are the guys that provide the paint,Bondo, sandpaper etc. to the local Body Shops. ;D ;D ;D
