My daughter and I have been working on her car for the Open race and it will also be her Limited at Bluegrass Nationals this year. Unfortunately, she broke her arm on Monday so I decided to go ahead and do her paint job for her. She picked the colors and we got a set of yellow Jewkes Pure Stockers to go on it. I think we are going with Pinky Tuscadero for the name.

You and your daughter have a sharp looking car there! Post some more pics after the wheels are on. And good luck to your daughter in her race!

It looks great! My daughter really likes it. The yellow wheels should really set it off. My daughter is coming to the age were she will want to start racing so I can see some pink cars in our future as well.

I finally got around to puting wheels and axles on the car. We have to use the scout axles and wheels from the kit. The wheels are 3.6 grams and you can still see the mold mark. I think they turned out nice. Once the race is over a nice set of yellow Jewkes Pure Stockers will go on along with a nice set of axles. I think it did ok. The fastest run was a 2.991.

Nice car and nice time! It is cool to know what is possible right out of the box. Before I had the scout axles ready, I ran the car with some of LA's nickel plated axles with the same wheels and it was running low 2.98's. The scout axles cost it about 0.01 seconds. Still I think that's pretty good. We will put the same thing (wheels and axles) on my son's car this weekend and are hoping for the same results. He's got to finish polishing them before they are ready.
