Hello all. I have a few questions for all you pro's here.. I'm looking to lower the time on our (son's) first car. It ran 2.548 on a 35ft best track at the local cub scout derby. The car did well, 1st in tigers and 4th over all out of 87 cars. The fastest car ran 2.508, with a very tweaked out car. His father owns a machine shop. I was wonder what mods I can make to my son's car to make it drop .04 sec. off his time. Is that drop possible at all ? The wheels currently on the car were lightly worked on as well as the axles. Its running on three wheels and weighed 4.995 oz. Will using 1 gram wheels and grooved and polished axles drop alot of time off the car? The car has to use the stock slots on the block, and the nails need to be visible for inspections. Any and all help sug. will be appreciated. Thanks again !
