I tip my hat to all you guys who can run the Pure Stock cars with graphite and get those smokin fast times. I was playing around with the final tweaks last night and decided to give Ying Yang a good cleaning and re-lube on the wheels with oil. I ran it head to head with the new Pure Stockr that's running graphite and Ying Yang beats it like a red-headed stepchild every single time. I still plan on sending in the graphite car to see what happens but it will most definitely be converted after the our Adult Scout race. Maybe one day I'll find that secret to heavy wheels and graphite.

My hats off to you, I can't get oil to work no matter how I apply it.

Multi-grooved nickel axles from LA. Don't get me wrong, it's still a quick car. It's just that Ying Yang with freshly polished bores and a fresh oil job and new gap settings is a whole lot faster. Ying Yang is still running the Awana axles you did for me Glenn way last year. Those things are wicked fast. I actually set a new Pure Stock record for my track last night with a 2.967 pass.

Well being one to not leave well enough alone, I just had to adjust on the new car some more and it had a little bit more left in it. Now I just got to fight off the temptation of tweaking it some more.

If you can leave it alone you have more will power than I would have. Good luck with that.
