Decided to make a second car for the upcoming local Adult race. Trying to tune this baby has been one of my most frustrating PWD experiences to date. I have tried a number of different changes (wheel mounting in vs. out, slightly heavier rear wheels vs. lighter wheels with more body weight, various degrees of steer and cant) and can't seem to get any better than the initial times from her. I have succeeded a few times in making her much worse (got the back wheels rubbing when turned inside out, that cost me about .03 ), but no real success in getting her faster. Maybe I just got lucky with the initial setup (not likely... ) Oh well... By the way, can't seem to think of a name for this one or for the other Adult race car (see pddr.proboards51.com/index.cgi?board=picture&action=display&thread=1602). Any thoughts / suggestions are definitely welcome and appreciated. Bubba

nice job on the wheels bubba... good looking car as well... what is the car for, what race... A Pack about 20 minutes north of us is having an adult race as a fundraiser. The rules are pretty standard except for weight (7.0 oz) and rule #2 regarding the wheels which says that while you gotta use the ones that came with the official kit (rule #1), you should - quoting here: "Feel free to make significant modifications to the wheels"Only $20 a car, so I decided to enter a couple Persuaded a couple other dads from our Pack (including YoungGun) to enter... should be fun! Probably gonna go with FBR's recommend on "Darth Maul" ;D Bubba
