Next year is going to be extremely tight with times like those Cecil. It is going to very exciting to say the least. I'm curious how much farther the times will fall next year in all the classes. Because they are going to fall.

I do not dought that some people are having a lot of luck using the Block. I am using a jig similiar to it. If someone is willing to loan me a Block as I am getting ready to build a few new cars I will be more then happy to try it. I have boxs of tools that people said would be great and save me time and money. They are not in my tool box, they are in cardboard boxes as they have not helped me. I just can not spend that kind of money without testing or putting my hands on one first. If someone is willing to loan me one for a few days and it works then I will be more then happy to purchase one and sing it praises. I did manage to find some time on one of my cars *** *** *** TODAY *** *** ***. I found .015 in it and it was my wife that said I should try something that worked. It was a design problem with my car that is why I am going to build some new ones. I think I can get the cars to 2.550 or so with the new design. I have checked my slope on my track and it is around 27 degrees. So I do not think that is the problem. The Block Has been Prov-en for 30 plus Years... It is a tool that does not sit in a cardboard box and waste away... I do not have to prove that the block Works. My helping father and son teams for 30 Plus years with no losses Has Already done that... Plus the wins at Lima Land 2006, Lima land open 2007 and Blue Grass Nationals 2008 add just a little fuel to the mix as well, beating out the best builders in the country... Going up Against the other tools Available to the Public and proving for now that My tool The block Is the best tool On the Market *** *** TODAY *** *** for alignment... If there Was a better tool out there then it would be getting the wins and the reconition... I will also say this, you can make a fast car with out using the block I can take your standard pine-wood derby block of wood and work on the alignment and get a fast car. but if I want to get a faster car every time and run consistent every time with lots of cars, then The block is the tool to use every time... when I drill My axle holes With The Block I know that the baseline for speed is set, if the car pulls to the right or to the left I know it is the axle doing it, not the axle holes in the car body... Sorry to say this but, there are no hand outs, do you know why people give hand outs for you to try, it is so that they buy your business make you feel obligated to buy there other products. we have Worked hard to bring the best parts and tools that you only need, to build a fast pine-wood derby car and I believe that we deserve to make a dollar or 2 for the time spent doing it... Have fun building your cars, good luck with your races and We hope to see you at the 2009 PDDR season... 2fast4u

Well if you think I am looking for a hand out you have me wrong. I do not want a hand out at all. All I was saying is that I am not going to spend the money on a new tool that I can not prove does any better then what I am already doing. I again am not saying anything bad about the tool and I am sure it works well for many people. I am using something very similiar to it. If someone wants to prove to me that a car drilled with the block is better then how I am currently doing it then I will buy one, that is what I am saying.

How about a pinks race in Feb2009? My pure stocker "Checked Out", drilled with the block ,against your pure stocker drilled your way.

It takes me all day and then some. I'm going to get a block but I have to convince my wife that I really need it . Maybe if I tell her I could be helping out around the house more instead of in the basement all day she will let me get one. tell her, it is a potato smasher... get 2, one for her and one for you...
