I was wanting to get everyone's opinion on the lube's so far. That is for the one's of you who have tried both.
Here's my experience so far:
The max V works best for me in certain applications, I use it on the needle axle cars and on the new Modified I just ran. The Max V is finer than the HEL and tends to be easier to get into the bores. My needle cars have very little space left between the needle and the bushing/bore and the Max V works better for that. Same scenario for the new Mod. It has RS wheels w/Awana axles, hardly no space left. As for Stockers the HEL has always worked better, the cars have always ran a little faster. Now , the latest Stocker I have just built, which will go out in Nov., works better with Max V and I don't know why. It is the first one to buck the trend.
Any of you guys have similar experiences or would care to share your opinions on the two? I think they are both great lubes, it probably comes down to your preference.

I agree with your opinion on the mod cars, it is easier to apply. As for needle cars the only one I have done doesn't do well with anything I have tried, Max-v,HEL, or oil. I'm gonna try sand next, can't hurt With pure stock and stockers both work about the same as far as speed but HEL last longer for me.

A wile back I ordered a bunch of stuff from max v and got a free bottle of max v lube. I tried it out on a fresh build and was not impressed. I slapped in some Hob e lube without tearing it down and got what I was looking for. I have tried most of the popular brands of graphite and oils but the good old hob e lube still comes out on top
