What should the weight placement on each axle be. 90%-10% or 80%-20%

I have only done local races as yet with my son however our cars run well on smooth tracks in an 8 or 9:1 ratio, on bumpy its more like 5 or 6:1. On a track like pddr's I personally I would aim for as close to 9:1 as you con and stay stable. We found on bumpy tracks it takes about a grain of sand to make it hop the track at 9:1. It also depends on axle position (stock vs wide wheels base) and if the weight is at the axle or the very end of the car as the leverage is different. If its these tracks start at 7.5 or 8:1 back:front and see how it goes. I am sure someone with experience on the pddr tracks can add much more to this...
