I bought some chrome yellow and Euro red HOK 2oz ready to spray airbrush paint..I also bought the Medium reducer.
Im using the gravity feed airbrush with the small cup. When I sprayed str8 from the bottle, it didnt flow to well using about a 25-30 PSI. THen it was REALLY hard to clean the paint reservoir..it seems that stuff dried hard and fast.
I used the reducer in even proportion...it seemed to spray much better, and I was able to finish the flames.
1. does this seem normal with this paint (for those who used it)
2. That do you think the best thing to clean this paint would be..
Lacquer thinner, paint thinner, mineral spirits? It seems to dry very fast and harden on all the surfaces that dont stay "bathed" in the paint.
Thanks RC

I think the ready to spray HOK come mixed 2 to 1. But since they have been reduced and you don't know how long they have sit on the shelf at the store they could get to you a little thicker and you will have to add more reducer to get it thinned to get it to spray. I know alot of people that mix there HOK 1 to 1 when used in an airbrush. As for cleaning up I have always used lacquer thinner.
